Kurry is former vice president and general counsel of Guidant Corporation where he helped guide the merger of Guidant into Boston Scientific Corporation. The $27 billion transaction was the largest M&A transaction ever completed in the U.S. medical device industry.
He was a partner at Dewey Ballantine LLP, a New York City-based law firm, for 41 years. At Dewey Ballantine, he specialized in M&A, corporate/securities and venture capital matters. He was included in Euromoney's 1996 Guide to the World's Leading M&A Lawyers.
Kurry earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Princeton University and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
