Richard L. McConnell
Former President, Pioneer Hi-Bred International
McConnell is former president of Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., and vice president for DuPont. Twenty-six years of his 30-year career were in R&D. He serves on the non-profit boards of Iowa State University Foundation Board of Governors, Iowa Health Systems-Des Moines, Agronomic Science Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy in Iowa. He earned his BS and MS degrees from Colorado State University and a PhD from the University of Nebraska.
