Sheldon M. Schuster
Shelly Schuster is President of Keck Graduate Institute. Formerly Assistant Vice President for Research and Graduate Education, University of Florida, 2002-03, he was director of the UF Biotechnology Program, 1992-2002; director of Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research, 1989-1992; and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, 1989-2003. Before moving to the University of Florida, he was professor of Chemistry and Biological Sciences at the University of Nebraska. He is a Member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and of the Board of Directors, National Organization of Rare Disorders (NORD). He serves as a Commissioner for WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona, 1974 and his B.A. in Biochemistry from UC Davis, 1970.
