Sheldon M. Schuster

Before joining KGI Schuster was Assistant Vice President for Research and Graduate Education at the University of Florida (2002-2003); director of the Biotechnology Program (1992-2002); director of Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (1989-1992); and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology (1989-2003).
Before moving to the University of Florida, he was professor of chemistry and biological sciences at the University of Nebraska. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
Schuster received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Arizona in 1974, and his BA in biochemistry from UC Davis in 1970.
