Campus Safety Information
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) prohibits sex (gender-based) discrimination and harassment in educational programs and activities at institutions that receive federal financial funding. Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) is committed to providing students with learning and working environments free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. KGI has designated a Title IX Coordinator and three Deputy Coordinators to assist our community regarding discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct.

Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium (HEDS) Sexual Assault Campus Climate Survey Findings
LiveSafe has partnered with The Claremont Colleges to provide safety-related communication via a campus safety app linked to a cloud-based command dashboard. This app allows our students to share information with friends and safety officials about sexual assault, mental health issues, and violence - preventing incidents before they occur. Keck Graduate Institute, in conjunction with Campus Safety and the Claremont Police Department, tracks and compiles statistics related to crimes, in Compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Safety Security Policy and Campus Crimes Statistics of 1998.
