Title IX

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) prohibits sex (gender-based) discrimination and harassment in educational programs and activities at institutions that receive federal financial funding. Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) is committed to providing students with learning and working environments free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. KGI has designated a Title IX Coordinator and Five Deputy Coordinators to assist our community regarding discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. Everbridge Safety Connection

Everbridge Safety Connection has partnered with Keck Graduate Institute to provide safety-related communication via a KGI campus safety app linked to a cloud-based command dashboard. This app allows our students to share information with safety officials about sexual assault, mental health issues, and violence—preventing incidents before they occur. Download the Everbridge app.

Students are registered for Everbridge Alerts automatically through our IT department who downloads and updates the information every day via our student management system. Students are encouraged to keep updated contact information on file with the Registrar’s Office.
