No. We are interested in those who have applied as well as those who have taken the majority of their prerequisite courses but have yet to apply.
Applicants who have obtained either an undergraduate or graduate degree in a science or engineering field preferably with some experience relevant to PA school and who are sure that a career in healthcare is their next step.
Maybe. The only undergraduate science courses available for PPA students for repeat are microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.
No. PPA students will be in classes with students from all the other masters-level or higher programs at KGI. As previously stated, an important skill is to work with others in an interdisciplinary environment.

The program can be completed full-time in 9-15 months (depending on whether the student participates in optional summer term courses or clinical hours).
Admissions procedures are outlined here. We work on a rolling admissions basis and begin reviewing applications as soon as they are complete. Once your application is complete it is evaluated for an interview.
You are required to submit two letters of recommendation. We suggest that one letter be from one of your science faculty members and the other letter should be from a supervisor in a healthcare related field within which you have done research or clinical volunteering.
For the GRE, please contact ETS and follow their instructions to have scores sent to KGI. KGI school code is #4166.
We are excited to welcome approximately 10 students in our classes.
There are no age restrictions at KGI. Our average student age ranges from 22-35.
It is not recommended students work during the program, but for those that must, we recommend no more than 10-15 hours per week and be related to clinical/medical work.
Federally guaranteed loans are available to qualified individuals enrolled in the KGI program. The Financial Aid Office provides individual financial aid counseling and assistance in completing loan applications.
