Events
The Alumni Board and the Alumni Relations department work together to provide two types of alumni events:
- Professional networking events that include a reception, industry speakers or panel on a specific topic and an open discussion;
- Casual social events attended by KGI alumni, staff and faculty that provide an opportunity to update alumni on changes to curriculum and other KGI news.

Louis Shamel '09 will be speaking at the Society of Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) 2012 Conference. In conjunction with SLAS2012, Amgen and Keck Graduate Institute have teamed up to give students an opportunity to get face-to-face with front line professionals, and gain real world insight on how to launch and build successful careers in laboratory science and technology.
