Donald Jones advises companies, governments and foundations on digital health. He is globally recognized for his expertise in wireless technologies, mobility and network effect for fitness, health and healthcare products, apps and therapies.
For eleven years, Mr. Jones served as Qualcomm's Vice President of Wireless Health Global Strategy and Market Development. In 2011, working with XPrize Foundation and Qualcomm's CEO, he conceived the $10M Qualcomm Tricorder Xprize for a consumer device capable of making multiple diagnosis. He is Chairman of the Wireless Life Sciences Alliance.
Jones holds a bachelors' degree in biology and bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego, a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. Jones has multiple issued and pending patents in the use of wireless technologies in healthcare.
