Dennis Huang
Dennis Huang has lead and managed the biologics manufacturing and process development programs at Allergen since 2006. He served as Senior Director for Manufacturing Operations at Novartis AG (formerly Chiron, Inc) from 2001-2006. This position included the lead in all production activities for four commercial products and several clinical products from fermentation through drug product. Before moving to senior director, he served as Associate Director/Director for Bulk Manufacturing Operations. From 1994-2001, he worked at Genentech as Manager of Biochemical Recovery Operations and Senior Supervisor of Quality Control Marketed Products. Huang began his career at Synergen, Inc. (currently Amgen) as a research associate and bioprocess supervisor. He holds a BA in chemistry from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
