J. David Rozzell
David Rozzell has spent almost 20 years in the biotechnology industry with a focus on the use of enzymes and biotransformations for the production of chemicals. He began as a laboratory scientist in enzymology at Genetics Institute, progressing to the position of Director of Biocatalysis Research before moving to Celgene Corporation as a Director of Research for chemical production. In 1991, he was recruited to the position of Vice-President of Research at ExoGene Corporation and promoted to President and COO one year later. In 1996, Dr. Rozzell established Biocatalytics, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of new enzymes and their applications.
