Welcome to KGI Academic Affairs
At KGI, we provide a unique blend of life science and business curriculum under one umbrella. Our success is based on our outstanding, one-of-a-kind academic curriculum, our faculty and staff, and our highly talented student body. Equally important is KGI's unique professional preparation and networking opportunities that we provide to our students.
Our extensive network of corporate partnerships leads to a multitude of opportunities for students to participate in internships, co-curricular professional skills-development workshops, team-based capstone projects, and other opportunities to visit with leaders from industry and from the medical and life sciences community. During their stay at KGI, students also have the opportunity to participate in both professional and recreational clubs at KGI as well as intramural sports, music, and other cultural activities of The Claremont Colleges.
The following pages are intended to be a guide to help you understand the dual role of Academic Affairs at KGI in managing your curricular and co-curricular needs. Our goal is to deliver innovative academic and professional programs that prepare our students for leadership in the applied life sciences. The Academic Affairs team—consisting of the Registrar, Program Administration, Student Services, Career Services, Corporate Partnerships and the Deans' Office—is here to assist you administratively as you pursue your educational goals at KGI.
The entire Academic Affairs team looks forward to working with you.
