Peter M. Bergevin, PhDAdjunct Professor
Peter M. (Pete) Bergevin earned his PhD in financial accounting at Arizona State University. His research areas are pension accounting and financial statement analysis. Pete has authored numerous articles in such journals as the The CPA Journal, The Case Research Journal, The Journal of Accounting and Finance Research, and The Journal of Lending and Credit Risk Management. Dr. Bergevin's textbook Financial Statement Analysis: Content and Context (with Michael MacQueen and Laurel Mitchell) was published in 2014. He previously authored two textbooks: Financial Statement Analysis: An Integrated Approach and Accounting for Managers. In addition to the teaching at KGI, Pete is a Professor at the University of Redlands' School of Business. Dr. Bergevin has held previous appointments at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Trinity University, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Thunderbird-The American Graduate School, and Valdosta State University. He chaired the Department of Accounting and Finance at Valdosta State and was Associate Dean of World Business at Thunderbird.
