Michael Palmer is a design engineer and project manager in the R&D department at Freedom Innovations LLC, an Irvine, CA based manufacturer of lower-limb prostheses for amputees. Before joining Freedom nine years ago during its startup phase, he had worked as a design engineer at two other companies in the prosthetics industry. He earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah and a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
