Kenny Dang, R&D Site Leader
Medtronic Structural Heart Division, Orange County,
Mr. Kenny Dang is currently the R&D site leader at the Medtronic Structural Heart Division in Orange County. He leads the R&D organization in support of the development of surgical and transcatheter heart valve technologies. Previously, Kenny has worked for Guidant Corporation, J&J, Boston Scientific, and a number of small and start‐up companies. He is passionate about medical device therapies and technologies that deliver positive impacts on people's lives.
Kenny has over 15 years' of R&D experience in the medical device industry. He has built and lead a number of organizations to develop interventional, surgical, endoscopic and other minimally invasive products and technologies that serve a variety of therapeutic areas including cardiovascular and structural heart disease as well as orthopedic.
Kenny's educational background includes a B.S. in Structural Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego as well as an MBA from San Francisco State University.
