KGI Announces New Career Services Director
M. Angela Cossey has joined Keck Graduate Institute as the new director of career services.
Cossey will work with job-seeking students and alumni in a variety of ways, including technology resources, workshops, group discussions and individual meetings.
She brings 15 years of professional experience in human resources, marketing and education to KGI.
She previously worked for E.S. Babcock & Sons, Inc., an environmental laboratory, where she was director of human resources. Prior to that, Cossey was a market development specialist with the Massachusetts-based Co-nect, which specialized in developing unique teaching methods to aid educators in producing interactive systems. Her background in education began with the Valle Lindo School District in South El Monte, working as a project coordinator and an administrative assistant.
Her higher education includes a Master of Science in administration (concentration in school business) from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and French from UC Riverside.
"As a successful corporate human resources executive, Angela has deep knowledge of and insight into the human resources function," said Diana Bartlett, assistant vice president for corporate partnerships. "On top of that, her past educational experiences enable her to understand and respond to the needs of KGI students. I am delighted to welcome her to the Institute."
