Mobile Mechatronics Lab Coming to KGI Campus
On Friday, February 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. KGI will be hosting the FESTO Mobile Mechatronics Lab (MML) on campus. An interactive exhibit showcasing innovations and trends in industrial automation technologies, the 53-ft.-long, 25-ft.-wide trailer boasts 20 working displays, a 55-in. video screen, air conditioning, a 40-KW generator, a 5-HP compressor with 90-gallon reservoir, and a self-leveling feature that allows near-factory conditions.
A team of automation experts will be on hand to discuss specific application needs and answer questions. Visitors will have the opportunity to find out what's driving change in today's industry and explore exhibit areas which feature hundreds of the most advanced automation products, displays, videos and interactive elements. The unique mobile lab has been touring the country for about two years and takes about an hour to set up and slightly less time to dismantle.
Due to its size, the mobile lab will be located at the corner of Bucknell Avenue & Wharton Drive (adjacent to the KGI campus). For more information contact Angela Cossey, director of career services, at 909-607-0102 or Angela_Cossey[at symbol]kgi.edu.
