Professor of Practice in Clinical and Regulatory Affairs
Type: Full-time, exempt
The Keck Graduate Institute is seeking a faculty member to teach in the Clinical and Regulatory Affairs major within its pioneering Professional Science Master's degree. We seek candidates with extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: clinical research, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing and project management. Successful candidates will typically have a minimum of eight years of experience in these areas, relevant corporate and academic experience, and possess a doctorate degree in a relevant discipline. The new faculty member will be appointed as a Professor of Practice, will teach three to five courses per year and advise students in our industry-sponsored capstone Team Master's Project. The planned start date is the summer or fall of 2014. Applications will be reviewed beginning May 15, 2014.
The Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences is a member of the Claremont Colleges and is dedicated to education and research aimed at translating into practice, for the benefit of society, the power and potential of the life sciences. The two-year Master of Biosciences (MBS) program is a premier Professional Science Master's degree for students with undergraduate or masters-level science or engineering degrees; the Postdoctoral Professional Masters (PPM) degree is a 9-month program that educates Ph.D. graduates in science or engineering in the business, regulatory, and sector-specific knowledge needed to become leaders in industry.
