Sean R. Gallagher

Dr. Sean Gallagher, Ultra-Violet Products, has 13 years of experience in biotechnology, with an emphasis on instrumentation and applications development. Dr. Gallagher began his industrial career at Hoefer Scientific Instruments, now a member of the Amersham-Pharmacia family of companies. He then headed up the Biotechnology Laboratory at Motorola’s Phoenix Applied Research Center, focusing the program on the use of microfluidics. Dr. Gallagher left Motorola to become President and CEO of Ionian Technologies, the first company spun out of Keck Graduate Institute before moving to his current position at UVP. He received his PhD in plant biology in 1985 from the University of California at Riverside.
