Richard Hamilton
President and Chief Executive Officer, Ceres  Dr. Richard Hamilton has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the plant genomics company, Ceres, since 2002. Before joining Ceres in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Hamilton was a Principal at Oxford Bioscience Partners, one of the leading investors in genomics and a founder of Ceres. He is Vice Chairman of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and Chairman of BIO's Food and Agriculture Governing Board. Dr. Hamilton holds a BS in biology from St. Lawrence University and a PhD in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University.
