Stephen J. McCormack

Partner, Global Life Science Ventures; Chairman, IMI Intelligent Medical Implants AG

SJ McCormack With more than 18 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Dr. Stephen J. McCormack joined Global Life Science Ventures (GSLV) in May 2006.  Prior to GSLV, Dr. McCormack co-founded NeuroSystec as President and CEO in 2003.  In 1999, he founded AlleCure, which was later merged with two sister companies to form MannKind Corp.  He previously held various senior positions in industry and academia in management, business development and research.  Dr. McCormack was part of the founding senior management at Keck Graduate Institute.  Dr. McCormack obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of the Holy Cross, received his PhD in Biomolecular Science and Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and attended the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.
