Linda Castle

Research Coordinator in Trait Discovery, Pioneer Hi-Bred, Intl.

L CastleLinda Castle is a Research Coordinator in Trait Discovery for Pioneer Hi-Bred, Intl., a DuPont Company. She leads research groups for herbicide trait discovery, gene improvement technology, and cotton product development at the Redwood City, CA facility. Prior to joining Pioneer, Linda was with Maxygen, Inc., a technology-based company that developed DNA shuffling for directed gene improvement, from 1998-2004. Her PhD is in Genetics from Oregon State University with an emphasis in molecular biology and plant genetic engineering.
