New Part-Time MBS Degree Program

 

Alumni-to-Student Corporate Mentoring Program: The KGI Corporate Mentor Program is gearing up for the 2007-08 academic year, and we would like 2002 and 2003 Alumni to get involved. You will be able to see first hand how this program has become an avenue for second year students to expand on current strengths and develop new skills necessary to help them succeed in the biotech industry.

 

KGI Alumni Google Email Accounts: KGI is pleased to announce a new email service for alumni that will accommodate current and future alumni needs. We look forward to launching the new program during the fall and expect this transition to be completed by the end of February. Find out more.

New Online Alumni Directory: The directory will be fully downloadable and contain all pertinent information for contacting your fellow classmates. The password-protected, secure Online Alumni Directory offers alumni the opportunity to communicate directly with one another. KGI is committed to preserving the privacy of its alumni. Alumni must return a completed Privacy Policy form before they will be granted access. If you have already completed the form, your access and password will transfer from the old directory. Melissa Eckel, KGI’s Web administrator, has been working hard to improve this valuable communication tool for alumni. USDA Awards $400K to Study Plant Sterols: Research Assistant Professor Kathrin Schrick's project will utilize two plant species, Arabidopsis and the garden pea Pisum sativum, to determine a conceptual framework for the functions of sterols in flowering plants and increase the fundamental understanding of plant-specific processes, such as cellulose synthesis and the formation of shoot and root stem cells during embryonic development.
