Development Coordinator – Stewardship & Donor Relations

Coordinates donor relations and stewardship activities and provides administrative support to the Vice President for Advancement.

Responsibilities:

The following are essential job accountabilities:

  • Coordinates donor relations and stewardship activities, including gift processing and acknowledgment, maintenance of donor records, drafting, editing and/or assembling of donor stewardship reports. Assists with special events, annual fund mailings, and distribution of publications.
  • Provides high-level administrative support to the Vice President for Advancement, including communications, calendaring, travel coordination, donor relations, and campus events.
  • Performs office management functions, including general administrative support, compilation and maintenance of advancement operations manual, maintenance and monitoring of annual advancement calendar, and organization of printed materials such as information packets.

This individual reports to the Vice President for Advancement. Functional supervision over specific tasks is provided by the Director for Advancement Initiatives.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities of the position.

Experience: three years of professional experience preferably in higher education, non-profit or similar environment. Knowledge of fundraising and donor culture preferred.
