Senior Analyst, Scientia Advisors (4/22/08) COMPANY Scientia Advisors is an international management and strategy consulting firm with a concentration in life science and healthcare. POSITION: SENIOR ANALYST At Scientia, a senior analyst assumes all of the responsibilities of a junior analyst while also being responsible for the supervision and development of projects to ensure they are completed to the Consultants'/Engagement Managers’ specifications. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - A B.Sc. in a science based subject (M.A./M.Sc./MBA preferred)
- Must have a sound knowledge of the life-science and healthcare industries
- Proven analytical and conceptual skills that have enabled the candidate to excel in academics and prior work positions
- Demonstrated leadership potential through project management
- Possess high attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Highly computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for work plan design and the collection and analysis of data
- Preparation of reports and presentations for clients
- Remain abreast of key developments in the life-science industry through continuous surveillance of scientific literature, company reports, and medical publications
- Develop company/product profiles and competitive assessments
- Conduct telephone and in-person interviews with primary information sources
- Construct detailed spreadsheets for data analysis
- Attend health care conferences to learn about market trends, product manufacturers and emerging companies/technologies
