KGI’s brand guidelines unite the Institute by presenting a public image in our tone and graphic style—the better way to build recognition and awareness for our individual programs while maximizing the impact of our institution as a whole.
In order to promote consistency in the way we present KGI, use this editorial style guide as a quick reference to answers about abbreviations, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar. For example, KGI uses the serial (Oxford) comma; never call KGI by the name of “Keck”; and always say “Riggs School” instead of “Riggs” as the abbreviation for the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences.
