What first got you interested in your field of choice?

I wanted to be in a field that made a difference.

What type of obstacles have you had to overcome on the road to getting your education?

Although I faced many hardships that hindered my education: citizenship status, medical issues, pregnancies, and finances, I continued to pursue my passion and stayed the course. I persevered through all these challenges and developed an upward trend in my GPA while doing so. These struggles have shaped me to be resilient, diligent, and patient. Like a pharmacist determining the best medication plan for patients, these trials have taught me to adapt. They’ve not only instilled in me the importance of dedication and integrity but also put me in a unique position to better serve the community.

How did you know that KGI was the right school for you?

The admissions process. KGI was not only the fastest but also the friendliest of the schools that I applied to. I was accepted into all six schools I applied to, but because of Nathan, and the ambassadors, I chose KGI.

Why did you want to become an Admissions Ambassador?

I wanted to give back to the community. Mostly, I want to be able to represent KGI and inform as many people as possible of how innovative and friendly everyone is at KGI.

What is one fun and interesting fact about you?

I can do the splits and dislocate my arm from its socket.
