What first got you interested in your field of choice?
I've always been interested in healthcare but wasn't sure which area I wanted to go into. After volunteering in various healthcare settings and seeing different patient cases, I became more interested in the types of medications patients were taking and why they were taking them. This is what piqued my interest in pharmacy and why I am pursuing this career path.
What type of obstacles have you had to overcome on the road to getting your education?
I knew that to be successful; I would have to get rid of my poor studying habits. Time management is essential in graduate school, so I had to adjust and manage my time efficiently to succeed in this program.
How did you know that KGI was the right school for you?
After looking into different schools, KGI had the most welcoming staff and students. I instantly felt like I was in the right place and decided KGI was the best school to pursue my career path.
Why did you want to become an Admissions Ambassador?
I became an admissions ambassador to contribute to the growth of the student community at KGI. Not only does KGI offer a vast array of programs, but the student community is so welcoming and helpful, which instantly made me feel that I was in the right place. I would like to give back to the KGI community and help recruit potential students with the same helpful and welcoming attitude that I was introduced to and show them what KGI has to offer.
What is one fun and interesting fact about you?
I'm a cat person, but dogs seem to love me more.
