Dear KGI,
This is an important announcement regarding mask requirements for KGI students and employees while on campus.
Effective Saturday, July 16 at 11:59 p.m., the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will require masks indoors in all public spaces regardless of vaccination status.
The new order is a result of the community transmission rate increasing 83% over the past week. The order will remain in place until the county begins to see improvements.
If you will be coming to campus and are indoors, you will be required to wear a mask while the order is in effect. Unvaccinated individuals are encouraged to wear their masks outdoors.
Vaccines are a vital part of ending the pandemic and getting back to the in-person activities and events highlighted by Keck Graduate Institute. Vaccines will not only protect you from illness, but you will also be helping to protect your community, which may include individuals more susceptible to illness and severe disease.
Please take a moment to review the following policies:
Your health and safety will continue to be our top priority in every circumstance and scenario.
