Dear KGI Community,

Attached is the most recent document from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health regarding their SafePassLA initiative. It began November 8 and will be fully enforced starting November 29, 2021.

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a recent negative test will be required in the following:

  • Indoor and Outdoor Venues or Events (under 1,000 attendees)
  • Indoor and Outdoor Mega Events (1,000 or more attendees)
  • Bars, Breweries, Wineries, Distilleries, Nightclubs, and Lounges
  • Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Cafeterias, Fast Food Establishments, Banquet Halls
  • Gyms and Fitness Venues
  • Personal Care Establishments

To prove your vaccination, you can present the card, a photocopy of your card, or a photo of the card stored on your cell phone or electronic device. You must also show a photo ID.

If you are not vaccinated, you must show a photo ID and a negative result of a COVID-19 viral test taken within 72 hours before you enter the establishment or event. This test must be a printed document from the test provider or laboratory or an email or text message from the test provider. The test must be a viral test (swab or spit test) such as a NAAT/PCR or antigen test. Antibody or serology (blood tests) are not acceptable.
