DNA & RNA Sequencing

DNA & RNA Sequencing will discuss current and emerging strategies and technologies for short and long read sequencing of both DNA and RNA. Participants will employ bioinformatic workflows for analyzing genomic and transcriptomic sequencing data for research and clinical purposes and identify challenges in data management and quality control when executing NGS workflows. The course will also expose students to sequencing-based applications such as single cell DNA- and RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, FAIRE-seq, and more.
