Microbial Fermentation

Bioprocessing is a technology used in a variety of industries. This course will provide an overview of various industrial uses of microbial bioprocessing. The course will present bioprocessing in industries ranging from the food and pharmaceutical industries to the chemical and green-tech industries. The course is designed to teach students the basic fundamentals of a bioprocess and what they need to know about the similarities and the unique aspects of bioprocessing in each industry covered.(MEB 360/ALS 420)
