Leadership is one of the most researched management phenomena and perhaps the most vigorously sought ability in a business context. This course focuses on the large body of findings and practical frameworks in leadership at multiple levels in an organization. Rather than recommending the “one best way” to lead others, this course aims to facilitate students’ understanding of the pros and cons of different styles and methods of leadership. This course will also highlight how leadership can help teams/groups function at a high‐level by motivating followers to be effective organizational citizens.
