Nutrition support is a standard component of patient care in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings. Many hospitals and outpatient home infusion centers empower collaboration between pharmacists, dieticians, and other healthcare providers to manage enteral and parenteral nutrition regimens. This course builds upon concepts introduced in PTMM and will provide an overview of nutrition support therapy, including both enteral and parenteral nutrition, with an emphasis on specialized patient populations. The goal of this course is to provide student pharmacists with the skills necessary to manage enteral and parenteral nutrition regimens in clinical practice. (PHAR 587)
