Motivation, Change, and Leadership I is designed to introduce the principles and practices for motivating change within organizational and community settings. Students use active learning (such as case studies, focused discussion, problem-solving, and role-playing class exercises) to evaluate effective leadership, analyze opportunities for change, and determine how to lead through change. This first course (of a two-course sequence) focuses on organizations and communities; the second course focuses on individuals and families. (SOM 5601)
