Second in a series of professional development courses, students will learn skills to advance their professional growth including goal setting and professional development planning. Students will participate in Interprofessional Education (IPE) activities, such as problem-based learning (PBL) allowing students to develop self-directed, lifelong learning. These collaborative exercises with the University of California Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine, Riverside Community College (RCC) School of Nursing, and other Interprofessional collaborators will help students develop verbal and writing skills to allow effective communications with health professionals. Students will learn to work as a group, self-reflect, and incorporate these skills to document professional growth in their electronic portfolios. (PHAR 351)
