Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process (PPCP) is an innovative and interactive elective course that explores the pharmacist’s role in different settings by looking at the history of collaborative practice agreements (CPA), medication therapy management (MTM) and the expanded scope of practice through Advanced Practice Pharmacist licensure. This practice-based course teaches student pharmacists the essential skills necessary to write progress notes, make recommendations to patients and health care professionals, participate in a cultural sensitivity activity, and develop a collaborative practice agreement.
