Medical Device Quality

This course will strengthen the student’s background in the area of quality and quality control as it relates to the mechanics and practical applications of assessing and ensuring quality of medical devices. Coverage will be relevant to a range of materials and components used in the manufacture of medical devices, including plastics, various metals, mechanical and electronic assemblies, etc. The course will focus on knowledge essential for those working in quality or operations in the medical device industry (such as quality engineer, quality engineering manager, supplier quality engineer, manufacturing engineer, to name a few).
