Trent Carrier L7 Informatics Guest Speaker

“Reducing Data and Process Silos in Precision Therapies”

Trent Carrier, Chief Operating Officer, L7 INFORMATICS
Dr. Trent Carrier is the Chief Operating Officer at L7 Informatics where he leads financial, legal, HR, and business operations in addition to leading product development for therapeutics customers.  Dr. Carrier joined L7 from Kiadis Pharma where he was a Senior Vice President of Product Development following the acquisition of CytoSen Therapeutics, an immunotherapy company, where he was CEO.  Prior to CytoSen, Dr. Carrier held management positions at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Biologics Consulting Group.  Dr. Carrier began his career in vaccine manufacturing at Merck and Co followed by product management roles at Life Technologies. Dr. Carrier has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California Berkeley and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.   Throughout his career, Dr. Carrier has worked across the full range of biologic modalities as well as at all stages of therapeutic development. 

Tom Mistratta Amgen

“Digital Transformation in Biopharmaceutical Operations”

Thomas Mistretta, Drug Substance Technology, Director of Data Science, Amgen 

Thomas Mistretta joined Amgen’s Process Development organization in 2004 to support tech transfers into Amgen’s manufacturing network. Tom is currently a Director of Data Science in the Drug Substance technologies group, where he leads efforts to implement end-to-end digital information management solutions for operations.  Prior to joining Amgen, Thomas worked in applications engineering at Millipore-Sigma. He has an MS in Engineering Management from Northeastern University and a BS in chemical engineering from RPI.
