APhA-ASP Breast Cancer Awareness Boobie Pin

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 

 

Join APhA-ASP in bringing awareness to Breast Cancer this month by purchasing a custom designed minimalist boobie pin! 

 

About 1 in 8 US women (~13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Breast cancer, HOWEVER, is not just prominent in women. About 2,650 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2021. A man’s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 833. 

 

Bringing awareness to Breast Cancer is very important. The subjects surrounding breast cancer are also very crucial to be aware of such as: chemotherapy, breast reconstructive surgeries, breast cancer medications, and most importantly the screening, testing, and prevention of cancer.
