Chai & Chill
The KGI South Asian Association is excited to host our introductory event in collaboration with Oasis– Chai and Chill on October 18 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.! This event is open to all KGI students and Oasis residents. The purpose of this event is to share our club culture with the community and also create an opportunity for those who would like to get a Henna tattoo! Chai literally means tea in many Asian countries and has been popularly adopted by Western cultures. During this event, we will offer authentic chai free of charge! Please RSVP by purchasing a free ticket below so we know how many cups of chai to prepare for the event!
Henna Tattoos:
Henna can be used as temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin using dyes from the henna plant. After henna stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off by way of exfoliation, typically within one to three weeks. Some of our club members will be doing these tattoos during the Chai and Chill event to help raise funds for our club. One simple tattoo will cost one ticket. If you would like a more intricate design, we offer this for two tickets.
