Manasa Chandra currently leads the BioPharma Alliance Management and Operations team at Exact Sciences, focused on co-development between BioPharma and Exact for its NGS products. He has 6+ years in both Pharma and Diagnostics, first at Medivation/Pfizer, where he operationalized the enzaluatamide transcriptome predictive biomarker and clinical study for breast cancer and supported the talazoparib clinical development and eventual approval in breast cancer for germline BRCA positive patients.

His goals are to continue focusing on the intersection of Predictive Biomarkers and Companion Diagnostic development for future drug development and, ultimately, the patients that benefit.

Manasa’s background stems from a nascent career in Marine Biology during his undergraduate degree at Cal Poly, SLO, before diving into translational medicine at the City of Hope as a Graduate Student. Before leaving City of Hope with a master’s degree, Manasa received a Certificate in Bioscience Management from KGI in 2014.

He credits KGI with giving him the perspective to always drive clinical research through with an endgame and plan in mind. While not busy at work, Manasa spends his spare time with his family and competes as a ranked powerlifter.
