Industry Speaker Series: “Keeping the End in Mind: What Gardasil and COVID Have Taught Me About Development”

Join us for our next virtual Industry Talk! Marian W. Wentworth is President and Chief Executive Officer of Management Sciences for Health, a US-based global nonprofit that works with leaders in low- and middle-income countries to build strong, equitable, and sustainable health systems that save lives and improve health outcomes. Marian also has over 25 years of experience managing and leading complex international public health initiatives at Merck & Co; in her most recent role at Merck, she led global strategy across marketing, manufacturing and research for a six billion dollar vaccines business.

Previously, she led the global sales and marketing launch of Gardasil and managed a portfolio of adult vaccines for shingles, influenza, pneumococcal disease, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, and tetanus. Marian has worked extensively with major policy decision makers including Gavi, the World Health Organization, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and various ministries of health.
