Industry Talk: Dr. Ron Shigeta – Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital, and Bioengineering

Dr. Shigeta is the Chief Science Officer at Wild Earth Inc. and the Scientist in Residence VC, at Babel Ventures. He co-founded IndieBio, the world’s first Synthetic Biology accelerator devoted to funding and building startups dedicated to solving humanity’s most pressing problems through biology. He has funded more than 70 iconic biotech companies to ma market cap of >$500M in 3 years. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from Princeton, and Post Doctoral degrees from Stanford and Harvard Medical School.
