Pumpkin Decorating Contest

KGI Student Government’s Social Committee presents: KGI’s first pumpkin decorating contest.

We extend a warm invitation to all students and staff to take part in this exciting event. Unleash your inner creativity for a chance to win one of three fabulous prizes. To join the contest, secure an entry ticket for $10.

Once you’ve purchased your entry ticket, the Student Government will supply you with the pumpkins. Each contestant will have a week to decorate their pumpkins with artistic flair. All the masterpieces will be displayed in the Chan Cafe and voted on by the student body. We will be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Details on rules and safety concerns will be provided to contest participants.

Important Dates:

Entry Ticket Purchase Period: October 1-13, 2023
Pumpkin Decorating: October 13-20, 2023
Deadline for Pumpkin Submissions: October 20, 2023
Voting for the Best Pumpkins: October 23- 25, 2023
Winner Announcement: October 26, 2023, during the Pumpkin Patch Party
(Note: Carving is not required for the pumpkins.)
