Please join us for us for a Research Seminar Series talk by Philippe-Alexandre Gilbert, PhD, Senior Program Officer CMC at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: The critical role of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) in vaccine technology development

“One world-one health” can only be accomplished if vaccines are available to all and at an affordable price. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation provides incentives and funding “at-risk” to projects that otherwise would be neglected. This presentation will address the funding strategy, mode of action of the BMGF, and type of investments in the vaccine technology field. Today highly competent managers and vaccine experts join forces within the foundation to play a vital role as advisors and actors in the world of politics, decisions, development, and communication

Date & Time: Friday, December 4, 2020 – from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
