Chris Lim '20

Chris Lim, PharmD ’20: After graduating with a BS in applied mathematics in 2008 and working in construction for seven years, Chris decided to pursue a career in pharmacy in 2014. He has not looked back since and has had unique experiences such as a two-week IPPE rotation in the Amazon jungle in Peru to learn about medicinal plants and a three-month pharmacy informatics summer internship at Harvard Medical School in conjunction with Pfizer’s Clinical Informatics Medical Outcomes Specialists team. His short-term goal is to complete a PGY-1/2 Informatics residency program and practice as a pharmacy informaticist in a health system while precepting and teaching students.

Gerald Chen

Gerald Chen, PharmD ’20: He graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He has been working as a pharmacist intern at CVS for the past four years and plans to sign on with CVS for the upcoming year if residency plans do not pan out. His long term goal is to continue to pursue his passions in ambulatory care and psychiatry and someday work on developing pharmacy services focused on mental health and psychiatry within an ambulatory care clinic setting. During his free time Gerald enjoys working out, playing basketball, hanging out with his friends and family, and playing with his dog.
