Wellness Wednesdays is a time for us to slow down from our busy, fast-paced lives and tune into ourselves.
On Wednesdays we will be offering FREE classes to those who choose to participate in breathwork meditation and yoga.
Location: Building 121, Wellness Room
Time: 12 – 1 p.m.
Meet your guides:
Melissa Scott, Associate Director of Career Services, is an Energy Healer and Breathwork instructor. She will guide a breathwork meditation with an energy healing component. Bring your notebook and pen or phone to write some notes. Be open minded and ready to get to know yourself on a deeper level.
Beth Walkenbach, Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships, is a Certified Yoga Teacher. She will be facilitating a yoga class. Bring your yoga mat, if you have one. (The Oasis KGI Commons Wellness Room has mats and other props available).
Dress Code: For the breathwork, you’ll be laying down, so wear something that makes laying down comfortable. Bring pillows, blankets, bolsters, whatever you need to make yourself more comfortable. For the yoga, you’ll be flowing, so make sure the clothes that you wear are comfortable.
