Amanda Tran, PharmD, BCACP, received her PharmD from the University of California, San Francisco and Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. She went on to complete her first year of residency focused inAcademia and Ambulatory Care at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and second year of residency focused in Ambulatory Care at University of Washington. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences and teaches the therapeutic courses for the second-and third-year pharmacy students.
Her areas of interests include hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and anticoagulation; however, she would like to expand her knowledge and skills to a wider variety of disease states.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, tennis, swimming, ice skating, snowboarding–staying active! Otherwise, she enjoys playing the piano, singing, drawing, painting, crafting, and reading.
