Erin Quillen, who joined KGI in June 2014, serves as the primary point of contact to the campus for general business operations questions, issues, and information requests. She manages KGI’s general chart of accounts, provides day-to-day financial operations support including but not limited to accounts receivable and payable management, student account management, and account reconciliation, and supports the administration of grants and contracts.
She also represents KGI’s interest in The Claremont Colleges regarding consortium-shared systems and tools and serves as the primary business owner of the Workday Financials system and any future student information system implementation. Lastly, she serves as the project manager of KGI’s Summer Programs and the business manager of KGI’s relationship with the campus’s outsourced food services vendor.
Quillen comes to KGI from the University of Southern California (USC), where she worked for five years as the Director of Patient Accounting and Access at the Engemann Student Health Center. She was responsible for stabilizing their newly implemented electronic health record, managing the patient revenue cycle, reorganizing the scheduling and billing desks into one unified patient experience, and negotiating and administering the student health insurance plan.
Quillen competed in NCAA Division I Swimming and received her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and master’s degree in Mathematical Finance from USC.
