Sharlene Risdon-Jackson joined KGI in 2020 with 15 years of experience in higher education and healthcare non-profit management. She oversees the Advancement, Corporate Partnerships, and Marketing and Communications departments.
Risdon-Jackson was the founding Development Officer for the National Marrow Donor Program at City of Hope Medical Center, where she led fundraising strategy for the Southern California region. She is known for her leadership in the strategic planning and successful fundraising for the Randall Lewis Center for Well-Being at the University of La Verne.
Risdon-Jackson has served on the Healthcare Council and Workforce Development Council for the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
As a first-generation college student, she received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a master’s in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.
